What Is Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT)?
Jun 02, 2026
If you've ever found yourself stuck in the same patterns despite your best efforts, you're not alone.
Perhaps you've struggled with anxiety, low confidence, emotional eating, procrastination, fear of flying, smoking, or self-sabotaging behaviors. You may have read books, listened to podcasts, watched motivational videos, and tried to "think positively," yet somehow the problem keeps returning.
This is because many of our behaviors, beliefs, and emotional responses are driven by the subconscious mind.
Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) is designed to help identify and transform the subconscious beliefs that may be keeping you stuck.
What Is Rapid Transformational Therapy?
Rapid Transformational Therapy, often referred to as RTT, is a therapeutic approach developed by Marisa Peer. It combines elements of hypnotherapy, psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral techniques, neuroscience, and mindset coaching.
RTT aims to uncover the root cause of unwanted thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and beliefs, then help replace them with more empowering alternatives.
Rather than focusing only on symptoms, RTT seeks to understand why those symptoms or behaviors developed in the first place.
How Does RTT Work?
During an RTT session, you are guided into a relaxed state known as hypnosis.
Despite common myths, hypnosis is not mind control. You remain aware, in control, and able to hear everything throughout the session.
In this relaxed state, the subconscious mind becomes more accessible.
Together, we explore experiences, memories, and patterns that may have contributed to your current challenges. Often, the mind created beliefs or protective mechanisms earlier in life that no longer serve you today.
Once these patterns are understood, we work to transform them.
The session concludes with a personalized hypnotic recording designed specifically for you. Listening to this recording daily helps reinforce the new beliefs and thought patterns.

What Does an RTT Session Feel Like?
Most people describe hypnosis as feeling deeply relaxed.
Some compare it to daydreaming.
Others describe it as the feeling just before falling asleep or just after waking up.
You are not unconscious.
You are not asleep.
You are not under anyone's control.
You remain aware and can choose to stop the session at any time.
Many clients are surprised by how natural the experience feels.
Is RTT Safe?
Yes.
RTT uses techniques that are widely used within professional hypnotherapy practice.
You remain aware throughout the process and cannot be made to do anything against your values or wishes.
Most clients find the experience enjoyable, relaxing, and insightful.
Why Do People Often Stay Stuck?
Many struggles are not caused by a lack of intelligence, motivation, or willpower.
Often there is a subconscious belief operating beneath the surface.
For example:
-
"I'm not good enough."
-
"Success isn't safe."
-
"If I stand out, people will judge me."
-
"I don't deserve happiness."
-
"I need food to feel comforted."
These beliefs may have formed years ago, often during childhood, yet continue to influence decisions and behaviors today.
Until these beliefs change, lasting change can be difficult.
How Many RTT Sessions Do You Need?
This depends on the issue and the individual.
Many people experience significant shifts after a single RTT session.
Others benefit from multiple sessions when working through several layers of challenges or addressing more complex situations.
The goal is always meaningful transformation rather than endless therapy.
My Approach to RTT
I have been a certified therapist since 2018 and have worked with clients on challenges ranging from confidence and anxiety to weight loss and personal transformation.
My work is also informed by my own healing journey.
After facing significant health challenges, including a period where I relied on a wheelchair, I became deeply interested in understanding the connection between the mind, body, emotions, and spirit.
Today, my approach combines RTT, subconscious reprogramming, practical transformation tools, and faith-based principles for those who wish to include them.
I believe that lasting change happens when we address the body, mind, heart, and soul.
